SPOTTED with a puppy!

Picture
Eric, 26, Lincoln Park
Hometown: Zionsville, IN
Occupation: Project Manager/Developer
What brought you to the event: I've been a dog person my entire life and living in the city makes it really hard to get my normal "dog fix". This was the perfect opportunity to play with a pup, help out a shelter, meet some new people, and drink beers!
Favorite part of the event: Walking our dog "Dorothy" to the park and running around. Also, the pumpkin beer at Village Tap.
Most looking forward to in fall: I'm a Midwestern kid, so I love all the seasons. Fall is no exception. What I was looking forward to the most has already started...FOOTBALL.
One thing you've always wanted to do in Chicago but haven't: I've always wanted to do Whirlyball.(spelling?) That would be a perfect cityswarm event.

Funny you say that, Eric...we did Whirlyball in March! And will be doing it again soon so stay tuned!

Brinda, 32, Albany Park
Hometown: Valparaiso, Indiana
Occupation: Book editor/writer
What brought you to the event: I heard about the event through word-of-mouth; I volunteer at animal shelters a lot and thought it would be fun to do with a group.
Favorite part of event: Playing with the cute dogs.
Most looking forward to in fall: Brisk weather, Big 10 football, and bars with fireplaces
One thing you've always wanted to do in Chicago but haven't: I contemplate going to Lollapalooza and Pitchfork every year but haven't made it to either yet.

Each quarter, CitySwarmers give back to the community by spending valuable time volunteering. This past week we walked dogs at Chicago Canine Rescue.

If this is what Arizona restaurants have to offer, then please send more our way!

Like those characters on the Oregon Trail, these Swarmers headed West to a new Frontier.

We headed to the wild, wild west (town) to check out new spot Frontier!
