Meet a guest who was Irish for the night on our Pub Crawl.  Baer, 25, Bucktown Hometown: Kenilworth, IL Occupation: Assistant Director of Soccer Club What brought you to the event: My girlfriend and I were looking for a fun St Patty's Day event to kickoff the "holiday" weekend, so she recommended the CitySwarm St. Patty's Day Pub Crawl. The event did not disappoint! Favorite Part of the Event: Listening to the Chicago Pipe Band (while slowly sipping a few Killians). There's nothing like drinking beers to the sound of bagpipes! Favorite Part of Springtime: The warm(er) weather. One thing you've always wanted to do in Chicago but haven't: I've never been to a White Sox game. I'm not a Sox fan whatsoever, but I'm still like to check out the Cell for a game. Spotted underneath snow goggles, helmets, and winter jackets!  Ivan, 29, Currently live in the LP! Hometown: Chicago Occupation: Recruiter What brought you to the event: I love to try new things and I've never been skiing before so when my amazing g/f told me about an all day event through Cityswarm, I was sold. It was a great event for a first - timer like myself. Favorite part of event: The skiing! Least favorite part...having to get up after falling down 10+ times. Most looking forward to in spring: Biking and running by the beach. One thing you've always wanted to do in Chicago but haven't: Rent a boat for the day or jet-ski on the lake! What brought you to the event: The Fireside event involved two of my favorite things; watching things on fire and drinking beer while watching things on fire. Favorite part of event: Fire! Thoughts on Chicago winter so far: I actually like a good cold snap. Chistkindlemarket would have been a lot better with some heavy snow too. Also, no snowboarding this year. This winter was pretty depressing. One thing you've always wanted to do in Chicago but haven't: Kayak in the river. I've got an itch to play chicken with a water taxi.
