You can't turn a corner without running into a costume store. Pumpkin lattes are apparently almost extinct. All signs point to Halloween, and CitySwarm wants to help you make it the best one yet by bringing you to not one - but TWO - of the best Haunted Houses Chicago has to offer on our Haunted House Bus Trip!
The spooks will begin at 6:30 PM where we'll meet near the Clark/Lake intersection and board our private coach bus from AcrossTown Charters. This better-than-a-broomstick method of transportation is BYOB, so bring your favorite spirits to get IN the spirit! With scary movies and music on demand, we'll be in the land of haunts (i.e. the suburbs) before you can say Frankenstein. Our first stop on the Tour of Terror will be the legendary Dream Reapers Haunted House, rated #1 Haunted House in Illinois for multiple years and frequently listed on Haunted House Chicago's Top 13 list. This haunt's got over 14,000 square feet of madness divided into 22 rooms, each of which has its own scent to heighten the level of creepiness to the max. This is Dream Reaper's final year in existence, so you know they're going out with a bang. After blood-curdling screams, there's no doubt you'll be ready for a drink. Except instead of heading to your parents' basement, we're heading to nearby Sneakers Sports Bar & Grill for a good ol' fashioned pizza party (with beer). Grab a Coors Light as you reminisce of Halloweens past and partake in a ghostly game of pool or darts (apple bobbing is so 1995). When your blood pressure is back to normal and your nerves have been calmed, we'll know it's time for the next bone chilling adventure. Our last stop will be at the Asylum Xperiment - also on Haunted House Chicago's top 13 list - where we'll cut the line with our VIP status (baller!). With over 45,000 "scare" feet, Asylum Experiment is the largest haunt in Chicagoland and is actually three haunts in one, boasting Hollywood quality design throughout. As we head back to Chicago, you'll either be smiling or scared stiff, but one thing's for sure: you kicked off Halloween weekend right.
